Attorney Park has over 10 years of experience managing U.S. patent and trademark prosecutions and disputes as of 2026. Prior to entering U.S. legal practice, he spent six years as a System-on-Chip (SoC) design engineer specializing in digital television technologies. His technical expertise includes digital video processing and bus system random verification. He is also a named inventor on a U.S. patent related to Direct Memory Access (U.S. Patent No. 7,779,174).

Throughout his career, Attorney Park has prosecuted more than 700 U.S. patent applications across diverse technical sectors, including communications and networks, display panel design, electric vehicles, battery control systems, and medical devices.

He has also served as both a team member and team leader in complex patent and trademark disputes, including:

For the past three years, Attorney Park has focused extensively on U.S. patent prosecution for Artificial Intelligence (AI) related inventions. He has earned an outstanding reputation among clients for successfully overcoming complex patent-eligibility rejections (under 35 U.S.C. § 101) for software and business method inventions.

In 2024, he founded ZION IP Law PLLC, where he continues to provide strategic legal services to help clients secure and protect their U.S. intellectual property rights.

Attorney Park is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and is a registered patent attorney before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). He earned his law degree from Handong International Law School and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Kyungpook National University.
